Day 15 |
We had been looking forward to this day when we would hit the road again. All the inactivity made us unconfortable,
after all this is was a roadtrip! On the way north we stopped for lunch in Peņiscola, a town built on a small hill that is
connected to land by a narrow stretch of ground. The whole town is like a medieval castle. Nice, but full of tourists.
Barcelona is great. We met up with this danish girl we knew, Anita, and stayed at her place.
Managed to take advantage of our guide
who came along with us as we visited a couple of museums and some of the
Gaudi houses (shown in the picture) (it was a good excuse to stay out of
the burning sun). The cops in this town have an interesting
transportation medium...it didn't really earn our respect...
Roads: The N340 goes straight from Valencia to Barcelona.
