Day 26 |
NB:
I woke up early and carefully checked over my bike. The chain needed a lube and a tighten and it got both.
Otherwise it was ready to go. It had been a great adventure, but it was time to head back.
Our last ride was a relaxed one. It's about a five-hour trip by car, including the ferry, but we took our time and made it in about 6.
On the way, we met a Canadian guy with BC plates on his Harley. You don't see too many of those over there!
Once off the ferry, we were astounded to see the lineup for the ferry out of Denmark. It was the first Saturday of the month and it was vacation time. Naturally people were heading south. However, the line was several km long...glad we weren't in it!
The ride back to Copenhagen from the ferry was as usual less than exciting. Chris got more and more grumpy by the hour.
CV:
Well, I was less than impressed to be back in not-so-sunny Denmark and all I could think about was when
I was going to hit the road again on another adventure trip.
Roads: The boring and uninteresting road back to Copenhagen.
